TJ, did you come up with "night of the long knives" as the historical reference for this, or was that phrase mentioned in one of the articles somwehere?
I was wondering because this morning on Unfiltered they announced this story with the same phrase, "the night of the long knives." I was wondering if they actually saw the phrase here, or if somebody else came up with that first.
(And yeah, I know the historical reference.)

I think it just reminded me of the historical aspect. I had to google it to make sure I remembered it correctly. It's one of those things that's been stuck in my head for a long time. I had a middle school social studies teacher that warned us of two things: Beware any governement that tries to eradicate your rights to protect you from some threat within your own borders because that's a hallmark for dictatorship. That wasn't the question you asked. I'm rambling again aren't I? I've been working on the site for 15 hours I'm losing my freaking mind. Anyway, ummm...I didn't see it in the link anywhere, I musta pulled it outa my head.
